We won the 2025 EIT Awards (Innovation Teams)

We’re excited to share that smartFAB has won 1st place in the Innovation Teams category at the 2025 EIT Awards with our project AI Automated Industrial Analytics!

While we are proud of the achievement, the significance of this award goes beyond our company.For years, industrial innovation often lived in the shadow of consumer tech and generic “AI hype”. But this year’s awards made something very clear, that manufacturing is reclaiming its place at the center of technological progress.

Across industries, our partners and customers are asking for the same things:

• solutions that address real operational challenges, not abstract disruptions

• systems grounded in data, context, and domain expertise, not one-size-fits-all algorithms

Our project was recognized not for novelty alone, but for its practicality, having a digital-twin foundation, real-time analytics, and a human-centric approach that enhances real-life decision-making on the shop floor.

So….technologies that once lived only in R&D labs are now moving directly onto production lines, where every minute and every percentage point matter.

In this sense, the EIT Award is not only an acknowledgment of smartFAB’s work, but also a signal of where industrial innovation is heading: toward context-aware AI, operational clarity, and solutions built for the people who run factories every day.
